Beneficial bacteria already found within high-quality produce can be cultivated by providing the bacteria with its ideal growth environment. To do this, we submerge the vegetables (or fruit!) under a brine. With a precise amount of salt, we can create a home that prevents the growth of unsavory bacteria while allowing the probiotic bacteria to proliferate. When eaten regularly, these probiotic bacteria are shown to improve digestibility, immune regulation, and even mood!

Fermented Subscription
Bi-monthly bundle of locally-grown fermented foods
Beginning in April 2024, Feral Ferments will offer a subscription service that allows customers priority access to a regular supply of fermented goods and experimental batches. Subscribers are guaranteed a twice per month package of the following:
(1) 32oz. growler refill of kombucha (rotating flavors)
(1) 12oz. bottle of our fermented brine gut shots (8-day supply, rotating flavors)
(2) vegetable ferments of choice
New subscribers receive a free 32oz. growler of kombucha that they can return for future fills!
Subscriptions are quarterly, meaning that a subscription period runs for 3 months and includes 6 pickups. Subscriptions are $240 (over $25 in savings!), and they help us tremendously with planning and scaling our young business. Subscribers can pick up their goods at any of the farmers markets that Feral Ferments attends, or receive delivery within Nashville for $8.00 per delivery.
